What Reciever To Buy? Life After A Skybox F3

Hi , just wondering what reciever would people recommend after skybox f3, i have a motorised system, looking for better features from my box including EPG, maybe hard drive ..... not looking at spending any more than 150, doesnt have to be a brand new job, second hand is fine with me, just after a few thoughts ...... thanks in advance.

I have a Solo clone, and it's a fine box Unless it's powered off for a few days, then it tends to "loose" the hard drive! If left on (or in standby) it not an issue.. Although my daily box is still my 'blade 7000 - rock solid.

Buying from eBay is always a bit dodgy mate, better off with a reputable supplier who you can check feedback on. Check your messages

Just had a look at your link, that is a solo so only one tuner which means you can only record one channel at a time, the duo is the better but more expensive option.

recording one channel is fine as i rarely record tv anyways, just thinking of an entry box into the world of linux with some decent features, and not to heavy on the pocket. oh and replied to your pm mate.

As mdt stated the DM800se is a whole lot better than the Solo clone, It may come in slightly dearer but the 800se clones are tried and tested and have been around a lot longer than the Solo clones. Lots more support for them to especially on here as well.
