Dr. Dish missing on Technomate 5200D

    Dr. Dish missing on Technomate 5200D

    Any ideas why my Technomate 5200D wont pick up Dr. Dish channel on Astra 19.2e (even after blindsearch) , whenall my other recievers find it ok?

    Hi. Are you using the same dish/LNB to find it on the other receivers?? If you can find it using other receivers then you should also find it on the TM5200D unless the channel is in HD then you wont. Also do you find other channels on 19 east and how many ??

      as nuts and bolts has hinted its Dvb s2 8psk you wont get it on an SD box

        Thanks for your replies. I did wonder about that, but strangely the DM5200 will pick up HD channels (although Dr.Dish doesnt appear in HD on other recievers) , obviously it cannot display video, but outputs the audio. I do miss theenglish portion of Dr. Dish, as my german is limited, but its good to see it back on the screens.

          the english portion of dr dish has long gone m8 since they were took over and started with computers and stuff. i was watching dr dish on kopernikus in analogue back in the day. try the dr dish website,regards mdt

            Analogue memories!

            Bless the days of analogue! I used a modifided Amstrad system (me sticking my hand out the bedroom window tomove the white dish) enjoyed the delights of Screensport , and then graduated to a Pace 9200 (which was the weapon of choise for those on a limited budget) Happy days.
