hi m8 ive only just read your e-mail. the ones you have suggested will be fine but as @andy91 suggests if going to add a third i would go with one of the same make and model if possible but thats not to say another wouldnt work its just that ive never tried any more than 2 of the same make so cant give you concrete confirmation m8,regards mdt

I think a different make and model works providing they are of the same chipset.

Well my mate tried this with 2 edimax (think that's what they are called) and 1 TP link and it worked for him, the edimax was 200mbps and the TP Link is 500mbps I think.

I'm near sure I seen universal homeplugs on ebay a while back.

Probably the same chipset however bear in mind that the speed of the network will drop to the speed of the slowest device

That's my point, maybe all these homeplugs have the same chipset inside or something close to it that will allow different sets to work with each other and all we're paying for is the name.

                      HI Guys,

Thanks to all who took time to reply and help me. I sent a email to someone selling a single plugin on ebay and asked them the question , and they said as long as its the
same speed eg 500 mbps , the make does not matter

A bit late now but you can mix 500Mbps and 200Mbps any make and they'll work but if you have the 85Mbps ones then you have to get ones with the same speed

yes but they will output at the lowest in that case 200mbps
