motor problem?

hello all

hope somebody knowledgeable can help, up until yesterday my motorised system worked fine (spiderbox 9000) technomate motor, turned box on today - nothing. I will tell you what i have checked my lat & long are 53.3N & 003.0W(Liverpool) the pole is plump i have changed the LNB could the motor be faulty? having said that the motor will drive the dish to sat position if i then do a scan nothing the the S & Q bars are blank zero% i am using USALS i then hooked the receiver up to my old static sky dish and pulled in all the FTA channels so i guess the receiver is fine. any suggestions

change to diseqc1.2 and reset the motor, then change back to usals and test the satellites again

thanks for your swift reply-i did as you suggested but it made no difference so i decided to change both cables, LNB to motor & motor to receiver, still nothing as i was reconnecting the LNB to motor cable i noticed that the LNB connection on the base of the motor was loose-i will strip motor and try and resolder the connection-thank you again for your help.
