I doubt it, i would imagine the majority are the plug & play brigade washed over from what happened on the cable scene although if some do decide to stay and give it a whirl then i for one am all for it. it's an interesting hobby and people can learn a lot from it.

no the zone 1 is limited in what it can recieve but do as suggested and swing the dish to 23.5/19.2e/13e/9e/30w(if poss) as these birds boom in although not all txp,s. a mono-block use a offset lnb usally 6 degrees from the main focus and is used with a larger dish for the primary focus(eg.. 19.2e=60cm 13e=60cm 19.2e/13e=80cm although people use a 60cm for 19.2e/13e). just have a play about to see whats out there. like most of us enthusiasts it was having a mess about with a old sly 60cm mesh dish on analogue 19.2e that got me hooked. i found eutelsat 2f1@13east.. bbc world/ebn/euronews/eurosport ect and realised that there more more sats out there. that was 1994,regards mdt

This is probably the most done thing without ever having to move your dish all thats needed is either cable ties or gaffa tape and a 2/1 diseqc switch and a single lnb less than a ?5 for 28.2? east and 19.2? east

yes. digicon has pictures as do i of that exact thing being done without a monoblock in site. i currently have 13, 19.2 and 28.2e on a 60cm dish with 3 lnb's. Youre installer is talking out of his backside

i aint no pro at this satellite thing but can manage the basics have two
                dishes up 28.2 and 13.0
and have to say theres a lot of tv on just these two satellites

i use this site for finding what channel the sports are on and couldnt care what language *** LJs LiveOnSat Football / Soccer Schedules on TV

now cyfra+ which is a polish satellite broadcaster air on 13.0 as well as sky italia polsat and various others
cyfra+ have sports channels and about 8 movie channels and hundreds more other stations Promocja platformy nc+ - Canal+ Platinium 114 kana??w w tym 40 HD
the movie channels can have the language changed so you can turn off the polish dub and listen in the original language of the film
about 95% are english the odd film might be french german etc

On a Motorised setup there is a lot of stuff free and a lot can be had from feeds found on a daily basis which can include PPV Boxing/Wrestling loads of sports F1,EPL can also be sourced on feeds or even via softcam and Biss keys and thats before you even look at the 'Other' side which cannot be discussed. But if your willing to give it a go and learn along the way then you wont get short of things to watch
