Rupert gets stuck in at Premiere (Subscription to be raised in Price)

The Murdochs are realy getting there claws in at Premiere by raising the price of there subscriptions and the Packets you need to have in order to receive football next season in Germany...

Another country been Fuc!ed over by the News Corp.....

The funny thing is HD has not taken off in Germany like other european countrys with some Public service broadcasters such as prosieben Sat1 and ZDF all abandoning Hd after only a few montha last year due to very little interest by the General public.

Premiere think they can do better and charge for it ....I dont think so

    Taken from another website...

German pay-TV operator Premiere has disclosed the new package and price structure

German pay-TV operator Premiere has disclosed the new package and price structure which it hopes will increase its subscription figures when it relaunches under the name Sky on July 4.The offer, which will be marketed in Germany and Austria, will be centred around the basic package Sky Welt (Sky World) offering 20 thematic channels for €16.90 per month.

The HDTV offer, which until now only consisted of Premiere HD and Discovery HD, will be considerably expanded to comprise Sky Cinema HD, Sky Sport HD, National Geographic HD, History HD, Discovery HD and Disney Cinemagic HD. In addition to the HDTV option subscribers can also order the premium packages Sky Film, Sky Sport and for soccer fans Sky Fu?ball Bundesliga when they take the basic package. The channels include Sky Krimi, Fox, TNT Serie, Sci Fi, Motorvision TV, Spiegel Geschichte, Discovery Channel, National Geographic Channel, Disney Channel, Playhouse Disney, Jetix and Junior. As was expected within the industry, National Geographic’s sister service Nat Geo Wild will also be on board, marking the channel’s introduction in Germany. The other seven Sky Welt channels will be revealed in the coming weeks.

Sky Film comprises 10 channels which screen movies in 16:9 widescreen format with Dolby Digital sound, many of which can be viewed in the original language. The channels include Sky Cinema, Sky Cinema +1, Sky Cinema +24, Sky Action, Sky Comedy, Sky Emotion, Sky Nostalgie, Sky Cinema Hits, MGM and Disney Cinemagic.

Sky Sport offers live sports on two channels, including soccer, formula 1, golf, ice hockey, tennis and wrestling. A third channel, Sky Sport Austria, screens sports from Austria. Sky Fu?ball Bundesliga shows all matches of Bundesliga’s first and second league divisions in addition to background reports.

Sky Welt subscribers with satellite reception who opt for at least one premium package will receive the bonus package Sky Welt Extra free of charge. This service comprises The Biography Channel, Romance TV, Kinowelt TV, Turner Classic Movies (TNT Film from July 4), MTV and ESPN America as well as other channels which will be made known in the coming weeks.

The new price structure means that viewers only interested in Bundesliga have to pay considerably more for a subscription. While the Bundesliga package has so far been available as a stand-alone product for €19.99 per month, the price tag now rises to €32.90 due to the compulsory subscription to Sky Welt. It remains to be seen how soccer fans will react to the fact that they will have to pay for 20 thematic channels even if they are only interested in watching live football matches

The film, sports and Bundesliga packages cost €16 per month each, while the HDTV option costs €10 per month. Sky Welt customers who order two packages pay a reduced price of €14 per month each, while HDTV costs €5. The complete package with Sky Welt and the three premium bouquets costs €54.90 per month or €59.90 including HDTV.

The HDTV channels won’t be bundled as a package and will only be available to subscribers who subscribe to the package in which the individual channels are available in standard definition. For example, Sky Cinema HD and Disney Cinemagic HD are available for subscribers to the film package, while subscribers to the sports or Bundesliga package can view Sky Sport HD.

The number of HDTV channels available to cable customers is dependent on the network capacity of individual cable operators, although Sky Sport HD and Discovery HD will generally be offered.

That man needs a bullet.....at least some of us enjoy his chanels for free.....
its disgusting how he treads on his competitors like setanta putting in ridiculous bids for sports events to ensure getting them..then when people subscribe to foreign operators to get 3pm football,,he takes their 3pm,s away,,vile man...

While we are on about murdoch....a bloke i know who owns a sat shop has started getting very frequent visits from nds,a couple of big intimidating blokes keep coming into shop asking
about the products he sells, and paying special attention to the ip boxes and dreamboxes he sells,,warning him about selling anything to do with nds........if people really knew what he,s up to they would think twice about lining his pockets..

terriers about your buddy ! If he get more that one visit from these guys he should seek legal representation or advice as these Guys are working out side the law and work on a form of intimidation, your buddy can opperate or sell Equipment of his choice there are no laws outlining what he can or can not sell or provide to his customers, the industry is totaly unregulated... unless you are selling equipment alreay set up to decode services like cable receivers but this is the responsibilty of law inforcement such as the police (Not direct visitations from member from NDS or other)..

These people have no power and can be asked to leave the Premises the only way for them to search or ask question sould be under a search warrent issued by a court magistrat which would not be issued unless the police are happy there is any wrong doing...

        Fight Fire with Fire .......

It seem to me they are policing under there own authority which if not regulated this in turn is a form of intimidation, he should have a chat with his local Lesi?n Police officer or futher more seek some legal advice ...

What I would be interested to know is what they are looking for ...as NDS is far from been hacked and the encryption has been solid for nearly 10 years, The reason I say all of this is because normaly these people are very dangerous and normaly are hired from a pool of ex security services .... such as mossad and other organisations, In some cases people have gone missing in this industry for hacking this service ..... not to scare you ....but it a bit doggy to be getting visits so regulary if ever.

Tell him to look into it and get some legal help...

They will if they have too..... but at least everything is above board and legal but remember a warrent has to have a valid reason to be issued, Its unlikely that NDS would want it made public that they are activly policing ordinary Satellite Shops thought Britian which seems to me been carried out secretly.....

I could understand all of this if NDS was hacked and openly been openly discussed but its not ..... So why all the cloak and dagger !

Best thing your m8 could do is next time they come in phone police and get them removed from the shop let them come back with warrant if your m8 is clean then do them for trying to make out he is doing some thing to break the law after all no one has the right to come in to your shop and intimidate you also if he is selling dreamboxs did dream not say let anyone try and take us to court over are receivers as what we are doing is all above board its a free view receivers when we sell and your friend sells its time people took a stand with old mr murdoch

Thats the whole thing nobody can be breaking the law ! Especially regarding NDS because its not hacked or open in any form , so to sent these gorillas arround every few months is nothing more than Harrasment ...

.:|SaDiQ999uK|:. I some manners NDS is supposed to be know by people in the industry (like we all do) and with that we also know and hear all the storys corporate spying, hacking other Encryptions, people ending up missing people been arrested etc .... Its called a fear factor when these guys come into your shop and say there from NDS thats why they are open about it... They are doggy because most are ex-security services mostly with Military backgrounds and work outside the law thats why they are hired by NDS NewsCorp....
