    dish type?

i'm about to purchase an 80cm dish but live in a very windy area, my system will be motorised.

    questions are....

mesh dish vs solid dish, any differences in reception quality or not? obviously a mesh dish wont get hammered by the wind as much so would be better for me.

any advise on what make to go for? i was going to go for a lemon dish + lnb but being a total newbie would be gratefull for all opinions.

    cheers

ive a 1mtr solid dish and it takes a beating with the wind no probs, 1 mtr means i dont lose signal in poor weather like wind and rain,

you should be ok which ever you buy.

Sorry to pick this up but just to let every1 know. When the wind is over 35mph no wind can pass through a mesh dish. At this speed with such litte holes mean that turbulance is caused in the holes so your better off buying a solid one in the future.
