Technomate + component connection

hi

I have a problem with Technomate 5400 super and tv samsung full hd .

The problem is that i cant force tv to fit screen automaticly , when program is broadcasting in 16/9 the picture on the screen is with black stripes on the top and bottom .
I tried first scrat connection without luck
component also without luck .

when am watching freewiev from terrestrial everything seems to be working ok , when programs are brodcasting in 16/9 picture fill whole screen .

is anybody can help me to solve this problem ?
or maybe its not possible to make it work ?
i tried many settings in menu of both devices with no luck

on menu my technomate is only
4:3 - Pan Scan or Letter-Box
16:9 - Full screen or Pillar-Box

and non of them seems to work properly
when i set
16:9 full screen picture is on full wide but with stripes on top and bottom ( then i have to manualy zoom it in tv to fill whole screen )
16:9 pillar-box picture is with stripes on top and bottom plus sides

Well our receiver has 16/9 pan and scan..
Well the only option you have is to change the tvs aspect ratio and then do the same with the freeview box.it will be trial and error but there will a a certain settin for each one

i thing i wasnt explain my problem very well

freeview which i have is build in inside tv Samsung LE32B551A and everything is ok
when program is broadcasted in 4:3 or 16:9 tv do scaling automatically ( to keep proportions )

but when I watching freesat on Technomate 5400 super
( same channels like freeview ) picture is not ok tv dont scaling automatically

when source signal is 16:9 tv doesnt fit picture on whole screen .
so the picture on 16:9 screen looks like this

this problem is only when i watching sat tv , programs from freeview terrestrial are ok

The thing with sat tv chanels is that a lot of the broadcasters show the films in its original aspect ratio say 2.35:1 which is wider than 16:9,so on a widescreen tv you will still get black bars at the top and bottom...

how about the auto setting for aspect ratio?

settings for auto aspect ratio is not availible in component or scrat menu can only change manually,
auto wide is availible in terrestrial tv only.

now am starting to think its problem with broadcasters like terriers said

well tomorow will borow HD sat tuner with hdmi output and will check if this help somehow

ok now everything is clear
today did check HD tuner with hdmi output and nothing was change in sd picture .
terriers was right its problem with broadcasters !
