On a clone dreambox how many satellites is it safe to search for? Plus what would you say are the best ones? I already have 28.2, 13.0 and 19.2 but are there any others that I should add to my motorised setup?

all you want 16 e 1w 10e all you can find theres plenty of memory or use a flash drive regards jovie

The DM is a Linux receiver and as such has no channel memory limit so you can load a pre-conf one and search the channels via the list instead of searching yourself, Most motorised should see at least 45? east to 40? west also depends on line of sight etc...

cool but do i click on automatic transponder scan and find the satellite i wish? i presume this is how it works?

Just download the latest catseyes multisat bouquet and send it to your stb with dreambox edit, restart box. .
Job done! No scanning needed.
