can anyone tell me how i can watch my dreambox whilst staying in another location other than my home

You can use Dreamdroid app for a smartphone or Pad etc... you will of course have to open a port on your router and port forward that to your device

a vu solo2 can do this due to transcoding, not sure the dreambox can do so over the net however
otherwise I believe a slingbox can transcode it and send over the net

VLC streamer for the Smartphones would also be required but it can be done from a standard box, I understand what ramjet means about the Solo2 as i have one and so with this you do not need any 3rd party apps to make it work as the receiver does all the hard work for you. but as i say it is possible
