No Time So Info Needed On An Easy To Use Box.

I got a DM 7020 ages ago with twin sat tuners. I was hoping to have time to learn a lot and be able to stream into the TV room for the other half to watch tennis. But lots of alteration work had to be done to the house and the DM was put away for a rainy day. I doubt if it got used for more than 80 hours. Now she wants to have the satellite Tv in the TV room with EPG etc. To be honest I still haven't the time to sort out the DM with EPG/updates/ streaming etc. Is there an easy box I can use that has epg updates automaticaly and is easy to set up for streaming so she can change channels from the TV room. I know I will lose money on selling the DM but I am simply to weary to put that much brain power into learning

There is only One Box that i can think of that will do all you ask without having to touch it: An Official Sky+ HD Receiver with official subscription.

Probably not the answer you where looking for but to be honest there is nothing out there that you can just setup and forget about without having to do some work on it before hand only the Official box matches your requirements

Yes but she would not be able to view other satellites and get her tennis and old films. I was told the GiGaBlue HD 800 Quad was easier with auto downloads for the EPG but unable to find much info.

as digicon pointed out, they all need some work and user input apart from the one he mentioned

If only things in life were so simple, but it if were, this forum would probably not even exist.

To be honest, if you were looking at the gigablue quad, you might as well spend the extra ?40 and get a vu+ solo2.
But as stated already, it is not plug and play and requires work to get it set up.
