If I ever had a choice I would not use a set of ladders, unless you have a massive tree sat directly in front of the house then sit the dish down low so you can get at it easily. Most people do not really know that the dish does not need to be high up on the house.

I've just set up a multi sat 4lnb dish using nothing more than an Android mobile phone with vu+ control to change channel on box and dm satfinder to peak the signal

These are two of the better installers I have spoke to and had surveys from, havent had my motorized done yet.

Techniserve in Gateshead is a secondhand shop , the phone number is an answering machine too .

i've used both, one of them could not get me 39e and set my dish at the top of a 6 foot pole above the roof which blew down and nearly through my window the other got 39e at the original sighting of the dish thats why i have reccomended them.

But it does NEED to be high enough to "see" over other houses and other obstacles and not too low as to attract unwanted attention by the local kids.

If you are able to fit it low then your lucky, some of us aren't.
