    Streaming.

I have looked around for some info on streaming from a satellite box to TV. I have got an old laptop but it runs hot and is noisy, it is also a bit big to fit on the shelves. So I thought a Roku or Apple box etc would do the job but whilst they do loads of stuff I don't really want they don't say it can stream from a sat box. Does any on the streaming boxes work with a sat box over the home network and are you able to remove some of the clutter they load on these boxes? I rang Currys just to see what they thought, they didn't know but suggested I buy and try. I think not.

Any Linux Enigma 1/2 receiver can stream over the Network but your end device must have some form of Internet browser for it to work

I have a small Zotac media PC attached to the back of my Sony tv, its running W7 and allows me to connect to almost anything. It cost ?130 new from overclockers.

Many thanks for the info. I do have a Revo 80 with nothing on it. It was given to me as a birthday present a month ago and been sat there since. Whatever I do it has to be simple, not so much for me but the other 2/3rds. I was once dragged off a ladder because there was no pic on the monitor. At the moment I get very little time to play with my gadgets and the last thing I want is for them to keep saying they can't get the sat channels on the TV. It was OK when the sat box was in the TV room but I moved it into my den so I could play in peace. Any ideas on the easiest to use setup?
