    SatScan and DiSEqC

Hi, I've been searching the web and Sat forums and couldn't find the answer to the question, is the SATSCAN motor from Nokia compatible with DiSEqC ? Thanks

Looking at some old Photo's it appears to be a re-badged STAB HH100 motor so yes it is compatible with Diseqc 1.2

Hi digicom, many thanks, that is a great news, I've that SatScan motor for at least 15 years which came with the Nokia 9800S, not used it for the last 3 years and want to reuse it, now I need to look for / select an excellent HD receiver that is DiSEqC 1.2 :-)
      Thanks again

I would say 99.9% of HD receivers today have Diseqc 1.2 capability

I have read (SB-Projects: Nokia Satscan) that "Later models of the Sat-Scan motor were controlled through DiSEqC", while "the early models [...] are controlled by a very simple protocol.".
I bought my SatScan motor here in Norway in 1999 or 1998, and I'm wondering whether it is an "old" (non-DiSEqC) or a new one (DiSEqC 1.2).
            Any idea?

            Kind regards,
            JGB
