    Lnb help

Hi hope someone can help. I have 2 f5,s one in the living room the other in the bedroom The one in the living room works great the other one reports no signal or scrambled tried swapping cables and the one in the living room reported no signal the one in the bedroom I got more channels but every 2nd channel scrambled. When I moved into this house there was already a cable running under the floor to the bedroom unfortunately the cable from the twin lnb did not reach and so I had to put in an extra length of cable to join it up everything seemed to be working fine just a few glitches now and then. But thought this might be because of having two connections in the cable. I am going to check the cable from the twin lnb but as I don't know much about lnb's (if you don't ask you don,t learn) could the lnb be slightly off or faulty as I recieve all channels on one box and very few on the other. Any advice would be most welcome

I used 2 f connectors Had a look at cable and it seems to be ok had a look at lnb it's actually a quad lnb so switched cable to another lnb output and got some more channels but most of the entertainment channels report no signal but the movie channels are mostly working now

i could be wrong u thought the f5 was known for draining the lnb power.i have a openbox s10 and a f5 if i switch both on i get glithes but put just one on and its fine.
