    Hi
I am on holiday in Spain near BURGOS. Having trouble getting Astra 28. Is it still 28 in Spain?

Yes it is still 28.2? east the satellite never moves, but due to recent changes you will find some channels missing especially the ones on the 1N and 2F UK spot beams, although you should still get Astra 2A and the Astra 1N europe beams

      thanks
Thought maybe with our long and lat altering it might be different. I know the satellite doesn't move . We are in a wooded area so will have to look for a spot with more open sky. Thanks for your help and info
PS: Will try again tomorrow. Just a bit sick cause we missed the tennis today!
      Regards Ken

If your after the Freeview channels then you have a better bet catching these on the Freeview relay Sat Intelsat 907 @ 27.5? west in your location FlySat Intelsat 907 @ 27.5? West you could probably get away with a smaller dish too, you will of course need a sat receiver that can handle BISS Key input and your in business

If you want to watch the tennis i would have thought there are plenty of FTA channels on various outher satellites you could try,
if you can move you dish that is.

Sorry for late reply as it is hard to get WiFi in some parts of Spain around Burgos. Im getting70% on 13, 19 and 21 but impossible to get 26 and 28, Why I don't know? There is a mountain range south of me but it is 2/3 miles away. Believe it or not it was only 26 and 28 that had FTA tennis. I got the F1 on 19. Darts on 21, Ended up watching the tennis in a WiFi zone on P 2 P.
                Regards Ken

Try for 27.5? west all the Freesat channels are on there and you should have no problems with the footprint as long as your LOS is OK
