    cheap twin tuner for bedroom

    Hi

Im looking to buy a cheap box for my bedroom that has a twin tuner.

I have a vu duo downstairs, didnt really want to spend more than ?150, what are the best recommendation for the price?

There are none for around that price unless you want to chance your arm with a second hand Amiko Alien2 other than that your looking at another clone Duo for around ?160 delivered

Yeah I think the Alien Amiko 2 with the HDMU image looks decent enough. Reviews seem 50 50 on this.

Yes, i like the HDMU images myself. For that price range you will only get an Alien 2.

You can always stick to Spark, lots of features like SuperIPTV have been added recently, just playing around with this at the moment.

You can get them new for ?125 if you look around.

You can get a Venton HD1 twin tuner for just over ?180.

A bit more than you want to spend but much better than an Amiko Alien 2.

if your willing to go to ?180 you might aswell go to ?199 as you can get a TM twin with free hard drive for that delivered from a certain stockist, regards mdt

There are a few of the N-box around still at ?125 with HDD installed, they can use OpenPLi and the autobouquets plugin but you get what you pay for. Drop me a PM for more info.

                      Pretty much exactly the same.
Spec wise the Ventons edge it over the Duo.

Cant argue with the price of the Venton ?189 for a Twin Tuner that has the same chipset as the Vu Uno, One little snag for me No Blackhole support but if thats not your bag then not bad at all
