    Advise on box and image

Hi Guys, basically a friend is moving out and need a box. At the min I use a dm800hd and dm500 now he wants to get a hd box and wants to spend as little as possible. Now I know I can get a dm500hd for around ?100ish which I think would be fine. I want to know is there any other good box out there around this price range? Also what are these sun vision boxes? they look like a dm to me? I would prefer to use a box that has established support and a nice system then lets say a cheap openbox since its not the best to use and my friend is not the most techy. Also I wanted to ask what is a good image to use at the min which has a reliable auto bouquet update feature? I generally update mine manually but my friend is moving 20 miles away and I don't fancy the trip every time he looses a channel.

my advise would be to buy a vu solo or similar and use the vix or bh images

if you can remote access his box over the net by knowing the login details there is no reason why you should not be able to update his box over the net, or using a pc program to access his pc or laptop remotely using say teamviewer, all this driving lark is not required in the modern age

i would go with the dm 500hd with a A8P sim card you can then use any original image for that model

Thanks guys, I am looking at the VU Solo and the DM500HD. Any preference between the two? DM I know how to use, have never really used an VU but hear they are good. In terms of updating bouqets that's the winner for me which ever has an image available that can auto update is the one that would be best. I could do the remote control but would prefer to have it auto update bouqets so im only harassed over more techy issues
