You could use an SKY SD BOX but people prefer to watch footy in HD now so a SKY HD + Box is better.

BT is the cheapest legal one for a pub under the current acts.

As far as I am aware, it is legal for you to get a sub from any Pan Euro country. As long as you dont show the logo of the EPL or play the music....

You could even do the streaming from AD Sports via a VPN. Again, this would be okay, as you would be breaking the T&C's of the provider, but not breaking the law in England, again as long as you dont show copyrighted material which is the logo and music.

If you have a valid sub you are okay.

Lots of technicalities for you to consider, and it all depends on how much you are prepared to put into it yourself or do you want to get someone else in to do it for you. If you do the latter, when it goes down just before a big match and you have to call that person, you will have a pub full of unhappy punters, and most probably not be able to get a hold of the person who will of helped you. So it is always better to sort it yourself. Do you homework, do your reading and take the pointers that people will give you.

            FP.

you also have to consider if your lega sub allows only you to watch it (a private sub for your private self or family), and that of a commercial public screening like in a commercial public house where you have to have a valid license from the broadcaster to screen it, with that overriding proviso of the copyrighted works like logos and music etc

I would have thought that any pub would have looked at this via their trade magazines and trade bodies seeing as its had so much attention over the last few years

As stated BT is the cheapest option but you only get 38 games but loads of other sports thrown in, Again its been highlighted that any european sub is for private personal use only and none have Comercial Cards as far as i am aware
