I lost all channels except bbc1 and itv . Not worried one little bit and am assuming it is the static charge in the air that is causing problem more than rain.

When I lost all mine it was more like someone was tipping the paddling out the top window via a live electrical cable

Probably a alignment problem, but a good LNB always helps, sats you should get 28.2e,23.5e,19.2e,16e,13e,4.8e,0.8w....

I have two LNBs attached to a home made LNB holder fitted to one of the old Sky 60cm dishes for reception on 13e and 19e and only get rain fade on one particular transponder on 19e which shows ORF III so no great loss.

With an 80cm dish you should have little or no problems as those satellites are strong here in the UK.

Depends on the lnb m8. If using standard lnb you are going to struggle getting 16 due to spacing so in theory you will be left with a choice of 23.5 or 9. You will get 4.8 but are not likely to receive viasat so not really worth it. I have both 23.5 and 9 and use 23.5 more than 9 by a long shot.

Using 13, 19.2, 23.5, 28.2 will also give you the biggest choice of channel lists as these four are by far the most popular fixed dish setup. I do lists for those for sats for both Enigma2 and tm5402/bm7000 both can be found on site tm one in general sat and enigma in dm bouqets
