    New Motorised set up

    HI Folks,

Moving to a new house in 3 weeks and have decided to get a motorised system for the first time.

The set up i am looking at is

    TECHNOMATE TM-4 SUPER HIGH 0.1dB QUAD UNIVERSAL LNB - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TECHNOMATE-TM-4-SUPER-HIGH-0-1dB-QUAD-UNIVERSAL-LNB-BNIB-/360638986280?pt=UK_Sound_Vision_Satellite_LNBs&has h=item53f7c23828

Supreme Intelligent Dark Motor LED Display - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Supreme-Intelligent-Dark-Motor-LED-Display-/321159055118?pt=UK_ConEle_SatCableFreeview_RL&hash =item4ac692470e

    TRIAX TD78 SATELLITE DISH & POLE MOUNT FITTINGS 78CM LT - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TRIAX-TD78-SATELLITE-DISH-POLE-MOUNT-FITTINGS-78CM-LT-/390514413741?pt=UK_ConEle_SatCableFreeview_RL&hash =item5aec7910ad

I know i need waterproof tape, f-connectors, bolts and cable. Will i need any additional poles etc to mount this as i think i am going to attempt it myself. Ill use the spirit level and compass from my iphone and ill connect this to my existing openbox s10 as it has served me well and just works without any tinkering.

I am also going to run additional cables from the other LNB's to other rooms in the house ( i know they wont drive the motor)

Any assistance or critique on the motorised set up, fire away. The system will be in Kent i would expect to pick up most satellites. Would the slightly larger dish (88cm) make much of a difference?

OK first off scrap the TD78 as the Orbital 80cm is the same price with postage and will give you a slightly better signal Gain

Orbital 80cm: Orbital 80cm Steel Satellite Dish Brand New with Lifetime Warranty | eBay

Secondly forget the Dark motor Supreme get the dark Motor Superior its identical apart from it has no USELESS LED display on the top saved you a ?5

ALSAT SUPERIOR DARK MOTOR METAL GEAR DiSEqC 1.2 /1.4 | eBay

Thirdly scrap the LNB and get a Quad Black ultra if thats what your after far superior and saved you another few quid

INVERTO BLACK ULTRA HIGH-GAIN QUAD LNB | eBay

the best wall mount is a pair of T-K brackets and a small scaffold pole in between them

Pretty Much so if you have a south facing wall then a standard 'L' bracket will do due to the size of the dish as its only an 80cm, I fully understand Ramjet and where he is coming from about the T&K's and small section of scaffold as he has thought with this your first time so to speak the T&K mount will be easier to adjust to get the whole rig Plumb 360?.

If your a confident DIY'er so to speak and think you can get an 'L' type wall mount straight and Plumb first time then go for it otherwise as Ramjet Stated the T&K will allow for adjustment incase anything goes wrong as well as your walls being slightly out.

          Good Luck

Thanks for the replies and the help guys. Ill set aside a day to install and see how i go. Just out of curiosity, What would the going rate for a standard install be for this set up in the Kent area?
