If technomate get a shift on patching all there receivers instead of just 2 we would have UPC as well which includes around 180 channels roughly and also shows EPL

So softcams are not all that bad

correct, as I said before , the softcam is a text file so open one in notepad and see , it also depends if it contains biss keys or not , some do , some dont

most have the list of channels or broadcasters that are opened, along with the satellite position, so check the postings in the relevant sections for the different softcams

you need to do a lot of reading on these subjects - as was mentioned before

they used to open a lot more but has dwindled down over the years, some people on here or elsewhere will post biss keys and softcams for other members to use in their boxes

I'm on a tablet so can't download anything Could you maybe give me an example of the types of channels unlocked, and how much PL they would have?

Also, im probably going to get the bt sport card today. Would i be able to slot it into a dreambox or technomate, or would i only be able to put it in one of their boxes?

You will have to get a BT sport card Activated in an Official receiver, Before anyone says but you can put it in etc... i know that but just trying to keep things as simple as possible for the OP

you are going to need a windows pc or laptop in order to be able to manage these 3rd party boxes, especially linux boxes like a dreambox , you may need to learn how to setup oscam with some of your wishlist too

Best advise i can give you is read everything in the satellite section forum until your eyes bleed as everything you are asking has been asked and answered a million times before. The Forum has a wonderful search function if you use it

You can either watch on your HTPC, PC or Android devices ( handheld or Android Tv boxes )
Also you can view on Iphone or Ipad etc.
There are loads of ways to watch Aljareeza tv via streaming ... the choice is yours.

because 7 west is aimed at the middle east and not the uk , so aimed at cairo, not london (same applies to most of 26e too)

alternatively , sky uk is aimed at the uk and not cairo which has the opposite effect

that "spy" thread is more than a year old and talks about the old jsc ones on hotbird, things have moved on a lot in the intervening 15 months !

Cyfra+ or N+ as it is called now all you need is a 60cm dish pointed at 13? east and a subscription card and away you go
