You cant put your card into another box, because the card is married to your box....

No what I mean is, if you are a BT broadband customer you get BT sports for free but all it says is "call BT with the card number and they will activate it" does this mean it can be any card with sub or not?

No you cant sorry the Freesat card or what ever card you choose to put the BT Sports on must be registered in your name and at your address they will not put there channels on your mates, your uncles or your mates Dogs card.

              Just your own

you need a sly card and sly box (preferably HD) to get the bt sports "switched on" to watch it on a sly box
otherwise its free over the net on your tablet or pc or laptop etc

                      Watch with sly

Sly customers with BT Broadband can also enjoy the exclusive coverage from BT Sport. As long as you have a BT Broadband package, you'll get BT Sport free for the first year, and if you order before 1st August you can get these new, dedicated sports channels in HD free for the same length of time.

well, if you got yourself a second hand sly box with white card and conencted to a sly dish pointed at 28e, and rang them with the card number, they would add bt sport onto it for you

I think you can still use your bt broadband for the apps for a tablet or laptop for streaming it

                          BT Sport app

BT Sport customers can watch the coverage on a smartphone by downloading the BT Sport app, and it's also available online via the BT Sport player, which can be accessed at BTSport.com.

Or I could just watch it on my f5, the mobile app could be handy though. Thanks

When you subscribe to BT sports they ask for your viewing card number....... That is all... You could put yours, yours sisters, or rita sue and bobs too....

But whatever you put in, it is that card that will get the sub... Once that card gets the sub that is it.... You cant change it, without a letter from god signed by the pope.... OK... that maybe a little much, but its not easy ----- believe me.
