    "Free" Satellite tv help needed

Hey guys im new to this so forgive any silly questions. I used to have a cable eurovox (?) until nagra 3 came in. Since then i have just used freeview. But now i want to get something similar but have read you need satellite dish and to use your internet?

There is a 'company' nearby called Open Sat which does this and charges 10 pounds a month subs (100 for the box, and like 60 for dish fitting)

Is there any other ways to get all the channels, sports etc without doing the above? it just feels like i'd risking the 160 pound (since i could cancel the monthly cost) Although i suppose there will always be risk involved.

Any info would be great, thanks guys.

P.s i am in greater manchester if that helps.

You could sign up with BT Sports, Youview, Sky or Freesat? You could get yourself a motorised dish and sign up with one of the foreign providers, although that is a bit harder to do.

You could use Google and do a lot of reading - as said on lots of threads,,,, Google is your friend. Not that the peeps on DK aren't, it's just that Mr Google can provide you with info that we can't.

you wont get anything for "free" , even the free to air channels are not "free" as you have the costs of the installation and equipment

I would suggest you read through this http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...-setup-301108/

otherwise replace your euro with a kryptview

Will the kryptview work even with nagra 3?

yes as they are cable feed boxes and internet connected.
if thinking about card sharing please read here first.

maybe the near future may not be rosy as you think
