my lad has vm but its broadband + phone with no tv, not sure they do broadband on its own, but I think their phone maybe free with the BB ?
in any case. you need to have vm cables to your house and not everyone has those cables in the street, I dont for instance, so no good to me

you may be able to use something like 3g with a dongle router like the edimax, in which case its being done over your data connection, but this means mobile phone costs

the last option is satellite, but its expensive and not for the avarage joe

vm do broadband on it's own I think 100mb is ?35 a month but they do have lower speeds cheaper , you will end up with a superhub that has router built in for connecting any extra stuff you might have

i had a meteor dongle in the hub and every now and again it would drop out,i think i was paying e20 a month and needed topping up days before it ran out,it ran out a few times .
other one i used was a satellite one which was great until trees killed my signal=no line of sight.
is there an add on tv checking bb in your area with options?

Don't forget, in order to get Virgin broadband, you need to be in an area that can also receive cable TV. If you don't have cable, the only packages Virgin can offer is through the phone line.
