I have just bought a new satellite dish (1m Technomate Satellite Dish Solid & TM1 High Gain LNB 0.1dB - 97 CM) and was wondering if pointed in the right direction would it pick up Astra 4a at 4.9e so i can get viasat sports. Also I havent bought a receiver yet so any recommendations would be much appreciated .. I have a skybox f5s at the moment not sure if this box is any good for foreign channels

any digital satellite box is capable of picking up and receiving channels from a satellite that has the transponders pointed in the general direction of the dish, so 5e is certainly possible here in the uk. picking up channels is never really an issue unless its on 7w or 26e , its decoding of those $ channels that tends to be the issue
