    Right dish for Thor

Re-submitted as I posted in wrong section

I need to buy a satellite dish that will receive Thor (0/8w) in northern Brittany, postcode 35610, latitude 48.554 degrees North / longitude 1.585 degrees West.

I think that I need a 90cm dish but possibly larger and would appreciate anyone telling me what size I truly require.

    In advance, thank you.

Thanks, that's really good but, unfortunately, it doesn't resolve the question of what diameter dish I need; until I get there next week I can't confirm for sure the exact dish size I have but I think that it's 80cm and it doesn't hack; hence the need to know what size I need to buy, especially as the larger they get the heavier and thus more cumbersome to attach to the motor. Fingers crossed that someone has the answer but I do appreciate your input.

I am not convinced that a 1.1m or 1.2m will work there myself

so if you had to go bigger than that then it would cost a lot of euros

also it could not go onto a diseqc or usals motor if its bigger than 1.2m

If I had to go larger than 100cm I think the weight would make it physically unmanageable apart from serious expense but thank you for your contribution

agreed , that was why I mentioned it, to think about it with caution
