Which Box to buy??? IP box or Linux box????

Am thinking of upgrading my box from technomate HD box, but am a bit confused as to which box to go for in the long term....

Should i invest in IP boxs that gives free server or should i buy a linux box instead????

    Pls advise.

Your input will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

well m8 your going in the right direction just remember free servers will not be ther for ever. good for selling boxes tho! my advice keep it simple dm500 is versatile and completly open source so can be used for whatever you want without relying on some dodgy support that will be gone when certain makers have sold enough boxes.
ps carefull wer you get advice dealers tryin to promote ther gear all over the place pretendin to be helpfull.

the real IPboxes dont offer free servers read in here about them IPBox

its the likes of nanoxx boxes that offer free servers, but as stated by milkybarkid they wont be free forever

Well the nanoxx server has been going for a good while now and still strong i think..the server will not last for ever but from what i have learnt you can connect to newcamd servers if the manufacturers server goes down
