been a while since I messed about with my receiver, but am looking at a getting a new technomate just a few questions if any can help i'd be grateful. Is there any difference between Linux based boxes? I looking at either getting one of the following 3 boxes tm nano, tm5402, or the tm twin. to me theres not much difference, but I know that my tm500s is Linux based. Do I need I Linux based receiver. what does a twin tuner box do? is this any use wihout a hard drive fitted ?

yes and yes well worth the xtra imo can be got as cheap as the tm as far as i'm aware clones are just as good
