Has anyone set one of these boxes up?
I bought this a few weeks back and have only just got round to having a go at setting it up.
I've got it set up with an 80cm Motorised dish, i can get all sats from 53e to 30w so no problem there.
The problem i've got is getting my head around setting up the server settings, which im assuming gives me a few more channels elsewhere?
The box is connected to my internet connection fine, thats no problem, i've also updated the software to latest version.
I think i'm obviously not used to this box and need some pointers in the right direction with it from someone who has one fully working. i need to know what its capable of and how to make the best use of it.
It's been a while since i've bought a sat box, my previous 2 being a Technomate and a protek 9600ip, so as you can imagine, i was used to updating the previous uints via usb stick and even entering keys when needed.
The sellers are very keen to say how good the units are, and what theyre capable of, but when you've been out of touch for a couple of years, theres very little help from forums as they can't post about certain things.
anyone with any help, i'd be grateful of a PM if it cant be posted here.
