Help Sky reception

Ive recently had sky installed but cant get a signal the dish has been put up on a pole over the roof on a 3 storey block of flats but im surrounded by trees also the cable to the receiver is 60 foot or so ( thats a guess ) would it help putting a bigger dish up instead of the minidish hope you can help cost a fortune to get the dish moved as the original installers seem to have made a mess of it

A bigger dish is not going to help mate if it cant see the satellite. 60 ft of cable should be ok but the dish installers should have left it working you need someone with a meter to check it out or you could buy a cheap SLX type and do it your self,I use one they just wont tell you which sat your on but otherwise are good enough.

who installed your sky.. ring up and complain, they obviously haven't done it correctly
