    spiderbox 6000hd switch config

Hi I usually like to work out problems myself but this one seems to have me stumped
Purchased a 6 degree with one output monobloc lnb
As my 1.1 metre dish was already sitting at 19 east I mounted monobloc on dish set Diseqc switch in satellite settings to 1/4
and put Hotbird 13E as 2/4
I had a full signal on 19e and no signal on 13e
I then moved dish to 13e and made it the focal lnb then made hotbird 1/4 in diseqc and 19e 2/4
I then had a full signal on 13e and no signal on 19e
I have checked all the obvious such as 19e lnb is east of 13e lnb
And made the 19e lnb slightly higher than the 13e
My box is a Spiderbox lnb 6000hd and i cant find much information about the switching config
    Where am I going wrong?

Shouldn't it be set as simple and a/b diseqc not diseqc 1.0

Its a closed source receiver and although i have not seen the menu on these receivers i assume it would be something like Disecq 1.0 and then set each satellite as required.

I think the OP needs another spiderbox owner to chip in in case the menu structure is the same as on the other spider models 7000,9000,9900 etc...

normally, on a spiderbox 7000 or 9000 the simple diseqc should work, using positions 1 and 2 , or positions 3 and 4

if using the commit/uncommit in sat search , use diseqc port 1 and 2 , or use 3 and 4, and for diseqc uncommit use off or 1 as required for both positions

if using a 2 way or 4 way diseqc switch use the same as above, dependent on the switch as to which settings you use, as sometimes its both

no idea on a 6000 though, although you do have to ensure that the non-focal lnb is in the right place to pickup the reflected signal from the dish from the second sat when using a monoblock lnb

in post #1 he says he has checked the 19e lnb is east of the 13e lnb, but in fact it would be WEST of the 13e lnb due to reflected signals

        more info here http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...oblock-257900/

like this one below, 13e on the right and 19e higher up on the left, looking from the front of the dish into it

Thanks this was the problem I did not know that on multi sats you placed it in the opposite East/ west direction to the focal lnb
