Thoughts on 3PM footy and footy in general.

Hi all.

Not too far off now, August 15th I think, for Prem football to kick off.

Thats 1 more pay day (end July) for me, so time to start thinking about where to view the footy.

The days of ART seem like a far off dream now, Digitalb was ok whilst it had the 3pm kickoffs, but the price went up, quality is poor, and it does not look like there will be 3pms again.

Lost Digitalb anyway on Diablo, and maybe Digi TV is not for too much longer.

So what are folk here going to do? Buy a sub? which one?

Was thinking along the lines of say a NANNOX, but want to exhaust the options on my Technomate first.

Ive got a dreambox and some top quality 'partners' so i once again will look forward to my pick of all the Live action..

Patched receivers are yesterdays news mate.. you either need a dreambox or an IP receiver, with the latter being a bit risky if the dediacted server goes down..

So really think patches, cams etc are a thing of the past?

were the same things not said about the old encryptions pre connax 7 and nag 3???

NDS and N3 are not patch friendly.. most decent channels use the higher end encryption now, purely designed to be patch / keys / cam proof..

NDS will stay uncracked, N3 may take a long time..

Server dedicated machines are the way.. be them IP or Linux..

IMO anyways..

depends on your budget.. the important bit to google is "cardsharing" though.. the dreambox on its own is not enough

I agree,sharing is the way to go.
I'll probably watch it on Canal Digital (1w) or Nova Greece.

Emulators and keys are a thing of the past, we are very unlikely to see N3 opened as was the case with N2 since the change over to N3 providers across Europe are seeing a increase in subscription and increaded revenue.

If there is a opening in N3 encryption I expect providers to dump the encryption like a hot potato for another rather than spend 3-5 years with piracy eating away at its subscriber base this goes for cable companys as well ...

I know this is getting away from the the main point ! but most of us interested in this hobby is mainly because of football followed by movies and ~~~~, providers are aware of this and C/S will be the next to be hit .....

A Dreambox 600 or the new Dreambox 500HD (soon to be released) is the best way forward and I see that Dream Tv are working on servers for the likes of Premiere Cyfra so hopfully this will be the way forward ... C/S is the only way to enjoy this hobby at the moment (you meet nice people and make friends by doing it) and there is plenty of football to enjoy..

Simple answer NO .....

You do not require a Subscription card to C/S there are plenty of fourms if you Google the subject matter for no local cards for sharing.....

Im not getting into this subject to much as discussion on this is banned here on DK..but im sure you get the idea...

i have head few times here on dk about free CS without a card of my own. I have spent weeks on the net searching but no luck. Either you pay a little price or you bring your own card
