ive just seen a 1.2m at 24Kgs so 15Kgs looks light .. the motor should be fine.. although i'd buy a Technomate one.. i'm not keen on Alsat

Alsat sell poor OEM quality gear, it more than likely wont run as is advertised on there website and further more you might find your receiver wont be able to handel the voltage needed to turn it ... I am sure the guys on here can point you in the right direction, but personaly stay clear for Alsat ...

My Gibertini 1m is 14kg weight.
The dish itself is aluminium and light but the bracketry on the back is stainless steel and weighs a tonne.
I dont think any Diseqc motor can drive a 1.4m dish, its probably marketing guff.

The characteristics that make Rotor SAT HH particularly valid are as follows: -Maximum precision. -Mechanical robustness. -Connection without external feeding, only by coaxial cable. -Reduced dimensions. -Maximum ease of installation Rotor SAT HH is directly controlled by DiSEqC1.2 or USALS compatible receivers , where the rotation of the motor automatically begins when selecting the required channel. For all those receivers not provided with DiSEqC, STAB has developed the interfaces MS 220, MP 01, MP 02 to drive the motors only by Tv cable. The Darkman Motor says it will do 1.4m..

I say ALSAT are a bit of a suspect company and i would be reserved on anything they say..

m8 it is not to do with the size of the dish, but the weight of a dish, the only motor that will give you the info on weight seems to be HH120
