aha , so you are being fussy and want them in the same numbering scheme as sly eh ?

I don't get this sly numbering thing. The sly channel layout has to be the most disorganised I have ever seen. I hated it when using my official sly box hence the reason none of my lists are sly numbered. To set lists up this way on the blade and tm5402 would mean you would have to use all sats all the time and memorise channel numbers. I'm more of a browser and prefer to use the favorites and be able to see a choice of what to watch.

I totally agree, with their numbering scheme you have to add non-channels in for the first 100 ( 1 to 100 ) and also add non-channels in all the ones they miss out on , also they use up to 999 so that tends to be more 3 digit numbers than you get when you scan 28 east, all to conform to magazines and online tv websites

            I prefer my lists to be bbc1 on 1 , bbc2 on 2 , itv on 3 etc

the blade and tm boxes are not set up in that fashion - you could use a vu and the autobouquets plugin to achieve what you want

the blade is set up from 001 to say 999 meaning you would have to find and set hundreds of non-channels into the empty placeholders in order to place the channels you want like bbc1HD on 141 and itvHD on 178 etc , an almost impossible task due to the sheer numbers of blank channels required

the blade is set up like most bespoke boxes where you have favourite categories like lifestyle, movies , sport , documentaries, music etc with a finite limit of the number of channels you can place in each category

if you use the all channels selector for 28 east you start at 1 and in my case it goes up to about 760 from that number 1 , not from 101 like a sly box

I am afraid its horses for courses and if you really want a sly box order then use a linux box and auto bouquets to achieve it (it works very well I might add)

It's good to know that I'm not the only one who hates the way SKY have there channels numbered.

For me Virgin's channel line up is 100 times far better than sky's and that's the way mine is, all channels group together and not ****ing spread out all over the place like sky. All I've done is to include the channels that Virgin don't carry(Mostly HD channels) into the list and put them right beside there SD versions.

I agree, their list is one of the worst and most disorganised list I have ever seen , designed by a moron who hit "randomise" on the list and stuck with the fifth offering , its even worse that a deck of cards shuffled 100 times and thats a fair jumble !
