Skybox f5 or dream box bm7000s???

    Hi

im fairly new to this. I know people with skybox f5 but I want to be able to record more than 1 channel at once, and I've been told the series link can be a little funny on the f5.

any advice will be very much appreciated

    thanks

bm7000s is not a dreambox, not linux either, and only has one tuner
good box but wont do what you want due to one tuner only

the F5 is a cheap single tuner box so again no good for what you want

have a read through this, picking out twin tuner boxes like the duo 2 or solo 2 or tm twin

Yes, you probably can on the blade providing the channels in question are on the same transponder.

as above, I just didnt want to confuse you with the gory details, clearly you were already confused by them

so yes if the channels are on the same transponder, but usually people want to record one channel and record any other channel that they wish to, not constrained by the single transponder caveat

its rare that the 2 channels you want to record (or watch and record) will actually be on the same transponder, so I gave you the simple answer based on experience instead of the limited theories
