No signal/Tune failed biut there is signal

Bit of strange one this, here's an explanation of what I mean:
I've got one of the spark boxes (a rebadged Fulan apparently) which is running the HDMU E2 image, connected to a motorised dish. Everything has been fine for a good while, however recently I have been getting 'Tune failed' every so often, and the only thing that seemed to solve it was a motor reset. This then solves the problem for a week or so before it happens again.
However, today not even a motor reset would work to restore signal. I tried in both E2 and spark sofware but the problem was evident in both. The first strange thing is, when it says tune failed, there is actually a signal level reading but 0% signal quality. I then tried connecting it to my fixed dish which gave the same results. This is where the second strange thing comes in. When it was in the spark software I tried scanning for channels and it found them all for that satellite, and they worked! All this while still connected to the fixed dish and it saying no signal!

It's got me completely stumped as to the problem and how I can fix it. Any suggestions are very much appreciated.
    Thanks

There have been lots of frequency changes recently , so when you rescanned you obviously found them again, i think you answered your own query.

It would appear that the problem was/is caused by a very slight loose connection on one of the 3 points outside (LNB to motor, motor to STB). I say very slight as all cables appear to be connected fine but a light wiggle of them restores power to the motor and signal/channels to the STB.
Any suggestions for keeping the connections nice and tight? I had already put tape around the f-plug and cable of one connection as the cable seemed prone to moving ever so slightly. When I have time I will remake the connection(s), just to tighten them up and make sure nothing is shorting it out.
