Is this a bad signal?

I can't get some channels although I think its because of the tv channel it self.

Thats a screenie. Any ideas as to what is wrong. My sub has finished so I'm just watching the free stuff.

firstly have someone watch the settings page you posted, then move your dish slightly.. if this does not work, try rotating the LNB (Black lump on the end of the satellite arm).. get them to shout out the window when both settings are good

Lol, you should have told my dad. we had a small ladder so he got the broom handle and kept wacking it. . When he touched the LNB both of them shot up but went back down again, I thought it was only the dish that mattered. Thanks will try tomorrow.

if you can get them both full your doing well.. somewhere around the current level of your signal would be good for both bars

id try the dish first, if he was banging it from below and the bars flew up then the elevation of the dish could do with a tweak upwards.. be gentle as only the slightest of moves will do the trick

I just kept shouting from the window "left" or "right" and he banged it to the according side. It was when he touched the LNB it went straight up. I thought the wire had been exposed but it hadn't. I haven't been up there nor can I see. I'll move the LNB tomorrow.

ahh ok.. sounds like the LNB needs a tweak.. loosen the LNB bracket and rotate the LNB clockwise slightly, if this makes it worse rotate it anti-clockwise.. tighten the bracket once the signal quality / strength are high & equal as they can be
