    Question about new measures

    Hi Everyone,

just set up my box the other day and came across a few articles dating back to april about these new measures they are implementing to stop the emulators but after some further research could not find anything definitive on how it is affecting people now.

Any links to forum posts or articles is appreciated. Just wondering how much life does this still have as i was slightly burned by the nagra encryption a few years back after just setting it up

In this game, you pay your money & take your chances...that's it...end of.

But for most, this is a hobby, not a cheap way of watching tv ,which is where this is heading now with the mass influx
of ex cable viewers with the starview boxes etc.

The Old saying "How Longs a piece of String" comes to mind here LOL on a serious note as explained above anti-cs measures are being tried day in day out

fair enough guys message received and thanks for the replies. I wasn't really looking for any confirmations or assurances and definitely do not have any illusions about the whole thing as I keep track and am part of several alternative access and homebrew communities.

The CS and satellite area is a little new to me so i am just doing research. I am aware of the things they are doing just wondering if there has been a reported increase in drop of services. Big Cos' do like to stick a surprise just around the Christmas time to increase sales.
