Split one feed in to two ? Best option

I have one feed from my satellite dish which I have in my bedroom. I'd like to split that so that my Daughter can also have satellite TV in her bedroom. As I want her to be able to select channels independent of what I watch in the bedroom, what is the best option for doing this?

    Thanks in advance.

    not possible

you have to have a multi output lnb like a quad lnb (not quattro) and each box and tuner needs its own separate coaxial cable feed, which is why sly supply and fit quad and octo lnb,s

Thanks. Is it easy enough to replace a quad lnb with an octo lnb? From what I read it looks like a straight swap?

basically yes, that is all it is

sometimes it needs a minor tweak in one direction or another , usually up or down a touch (and I mean a touch) , generally its a straight swap which is what mine was

check signal levels before the swap, then after the swap, if they are the same and as long as good signal and quality is there both before and after, its done
