    Premier League - 4 Dec

Some of Wednesday nights games are listed on JSC channels viewable from the UK

    Liverpool v Norwich - JSC +1
    Swansea v Newcastle - JSC +2
    Arsenal v Hull - JSC +3

I can see this changing though as the Premier League have already clamped down on JSC, for JSC to broadcast PL matches on hotbird would be a ballsy move

The Ruling only applies to Saturday 3pm Kickoffs so there is a very good chance those games will get shown dont expect English commentary though, Although you never know.

Yes, interesting this one. Normally i would say..."not a cat in hells chance they will be on Hotbird" but as pointed out, this is not a Saturday, so who knows, it looks like the Viasat Xtra PL channels will be back in action again tonight , so if that's the case, the JSC on Hotbird might have a chance.

This happened a while back regarding PL matches being advertised one week on 13e JSC 1-4 and I'm also sure it was a Saturday they were scheduled for but I can't confirm if the broadcasts went ahead that week on 13e as I normally use 39e for 3pm kick offs.

According to some sources Al Jazeera are fuming regarding the 3pm sanctions and are threatening to pull out of the deal at the end of this season. Whether that is just posturing on Al Jazeeras part remains to be seen but I should imagine they have a lot of angry (legal) subscribers right now.

I'm surprised at how long Pubs have been allowed to get away with broadcasting the 3pm matches to be honest as the size of the dish alone screamed "foreign channels" but some went one better by placing a sandwich board outside advertising the matches they were showing! They may as well have written "Illegal activity inside come and see!"

Regarding being advertised on Hotbird a few weeks, back, i can say no they didn't broadcast the games, just before kick off, they switched to some Tennis or something & about 3 JSC channels all ended up showing the same Tennis match.
