    Motorized Dish Advice

    Hi Folks,

I have a VU+ Solo connected to a Golden Media Motor. I use Diseqc 1.2 to connect to the dish (60 CM) and I presently have

    28.2E / 19.2E and 13E all configured.

The problem I am having is that on 13E I am only getting a 40% Signal with my Dish! I am also unable to recieve any other Satellites such as Thor / BADR etc..

Before I climb the ladder I am looking for advice from folks here - Would my dish be too small to receive anything outside of these 3 Satellites or is my motor out of alignment?

I tried to set it up with Thor being south however I could not recieve it either so I assumed my dish was too small so Aligned it to 28.2 and 19.2 and assumed the rest were correct.

What are my doing wrong here?

Big is always better. As a rule for Euro sats you want 80cm dish depending on what part of the country you live in so get a bigger dish.
Have a look in the guide below

a correctly set up 60cm dish should get you the powerful sats but is on the small side. looks like its tailing off... firstly your better using usals and starting again. if your pole is 100% plumb, your motor lat is correct and the dish is straight on the motor tail your dish should track 45e to 45w if no line of sight issues and you should get something of these sats with your set up. 45e/42e/39e/28e/23.5e/19.2e/16e/13e/9e/7e/5e/1w/5w/12w/15w/22w/24.5/27.5/30w/45w. regards mdt
