    fta problem

hey. recently i rewired ma stock s*y dish with new wiring and a lnb because the old ones where nackerd. but i noticed when i scan for channels with my 500s it doesn't pick up lots of fta channels. im missing bbc1 and 2 .. stv and others, but i pick up bbc news snd channel 4 and five. and lots of others. anyway the lnb i installed was a titanium 0.1db 3rd edition and after i fitted it a seen a few sites talking about how this is for circular dishes and wont work properly with oval dishes, and also seen other sites mentioning about the skew.. just wanted to know what you guys think is most likely the problem, before i end up buying a new dish . not really sure how you can set the skew on this. my old lnb had positions like 1 2 3 4 .. but this titanium lnb is on a basic adapter so would i basicly have to rotate the lnb a bit then scan for 20 30 minits if nothing apears do it again . its really doing my head in. at first i fot it was the transponders on the satellite.xml but tried loads and got the same channels even tried new images same thing. hope some one knows a easy way to sort it.

Okay..what you need to do is get someone either a kid your wife etc but not your dog ..send Them to the room where the dm is and make sure you leave it on channels 4 signal screen..then you go out and tweak the dish and make your kid or wife shout over to you When the ber comes close to 0 then your sorted
