Hi guys not been on here for a long time (since the old cable and wireless days) so please go easy with the techie stuff. Right this is what i want to know i am currently running the full package on VM with 2 multi rooms and 60mb internet but have been looking at the alternatives including IPTV Motorized satellite systems and XBMC media player but have no idea what the positives and negatives are of each system or if there are any alternatives.


A Prices

B longevity ie wont be useless after a few weeks.

C How easy it is to use / Setup

D Compatibility ie with VM/Sky or totally separate

obviously anything not "kosher" could fail within minutes or you getting it up and running, there are no guarantees about longevity , apart from FTA channels

some systems are fairly easy. others more complicated , so it varies greatly
