    low snr %

    Had a motorised dish fitted about 6months ago with a dm800 hd box (bought box myself) all up & running but always thought picture quality was so so nowhere near as good as F3 box (running off mini dish)
    the snr as always been around 25% on 28.2e (done some tweeking with help off cunny) got it up to 31% but when weather is bad ie rain snr is 0% nothing on at all could this be to cheap lnb fitted and may need changing, when i use other sats ie sky itallia etc snr between 87%-93%, redone coax/rf connections

          sounds like its simply the motor/dish needs aligning properly even cheap lnbs should get you nearly all you want and 28.2E should come booming in.mounting pole must be 100% plumb and dish 100% central on the motor spigot to track the arc.

              got it all sorted big thanks to digicon installer had set lat wrong on motor put it at 60 instead of 53 getting between 87%-100% now
