Vu solo clone

I bought the Ferrari vu solo clone, version 3.2 from Nextbay. It came preloaded with Blackhole 2.07 and I am happy enough with it at the minute. I emailed Nextbay and asked was the box supported anywhere online for flashing new images. I was surpised when I got a reply that the box was compitiable with original images on Blackhole and Vix sites. I know this cant be right and was wondering where I can go when the times comes to flash new image?

That is correct all v3.2 ferrari clones are compatible with original images. They will take an age to boot though. In saying that I would stay away from bh 2.0.8 as they have been reported to only work on original boxes, so if you stick to images produced before say november 2012 you will be perfectly safe. I would however recommend using v2 patched images for all ferrari clones as they boot way quicker than original images but don't ask me to link to site where these pre patched images can be found as it's against the rules. You can however patch the image yourself with the appropriate ferrari drivers after you have waited an age (can be upto half an hour) for the original image to boot first time.

If it's working O.K, then I'd leave well alone.
Don't go messing with images if your not confident on what your doing.
You could brick it & then your out of pocket, unless you know how to bring it back to life!
Just my opinion, but as they say " if it's not broken then don't fix it"

I have one of these myself. Not all orignal images work. Some do some dont. Its a matter of testing. I use vix myself ive found 3.0.649 works perfectly so i just use that.
