No ITV reception? Sky box

Hi, my work has a PACE BSKYB 2500S3, without a card.
We want to watch Sky news, BBC news, but for some reason I cannot load ITV. (it comes up ITV central west but no signal)
Any help please?

I have trried the transponder load new channels
10891
10832
10758
but it comes up no signal...

goto the regional channels ch940>..thry them!

also check your dish hasnt been moved..if all fails then try LNB skew.......

no, tried 940, channel not available- there are no other ITV 1 channels in the box
I have tweaked the dish, I receive sky news, bbc news so must be aligned ok?
the box is not connected to a telephone line and has no card.

all i want to receive is the free signal from ITV.

do you not need a FTV card to receive some channels on a sky box..??

no you can recieve itv without a card ops m8.

press services on the remote

then system setup

the press 0 1 select

you will get a installers menu up

move down to new installation and press select

let it scan for channels and see if itv works afters if finished m8

Hi, i've tried installation, (great idea).. but to no avail.
At the end of the scan it asks to insert card, i have none, then it comes up installation failed.

should I be able to receive all FTA channels?

I get BBC, Ch4 Sky News all ok..
The only channel that appears with ITV1 is Central West.

some of the itv regions are still encrypted so you will need to get a free to view card from sky (20 quid) to recieve them.
some of the regions are free to air so you wont need to get a card.
the programs will have to be added using the add chanels and will only be viewable by the other channels menu

what area is free to air? and not encrypted?
i am happy with any area..
I just can't see the other channels..
Any idea on the transponder/ freq etc? that may work?

i'll see if i can get you the transponder id from my box for you to add it manually as mine works without card, but it shouldnt be encrypted as itv has never been encrypted on sky ch4 and 5 used to be (Well 5 still is) but not itv

I have tried all these, but get nothing still...

The five ITV transponders are:
10.891 H, 10.832 H, 10.906 V, 10.714 H, 10.758 V
22000, 5/6

Hi mate i see you have a HD box..

Have you tried this..

ITV HD is a seperate channel and can therefore be scanned and saved on a non sky sat receiver
the frequency is
EuroBird 1 (28.5E) - 11426.00 H - Txp: C5 - Beam: Steerable 1 DVB-S (QPSK) - 27500 2/3 - NID:59 - TID:2315

Ok is there any other channels missing ? because you might have a problem with with the receiver, there are two voltages one for 22k & another for 27k as sky receivers only use these two.... one of these transisters might have blown leaving you without half of your channels

You need to see if you are missing anything else, to still have a pace receiver seeing as they were one of the first to be built and also dumped for Grundig to still have a 10 year old pace receiver is pretty good, consider buying a newer Sky Receiver...

the receiver is old, yes, but i didn't want to wast ?20 on a free card or get another receiver.. but good point.. i will have a look
