    BM7000

Hi, I was wondering if it was possible to connect the BM7000 to another TV in another room or would I need to get another box???

Also, can I receive channels from hotbird 13e on the BM7000??
    If yes, which channels??

    Thanx

it can be extended to another room and tv using a yellow/red/white composite phono lead of suitable length
or by using a long scart lead of suitable length

or by using a games console phono or scart to RF adapter and coaxial cable to the secondary tv in another room

if your dish can pickup hotbird than yes it can easily manage hotbird

check king of sat and lyngsat for channel details for any satellite

      Thanx for that.

What is loop thru and how loop thru works on the BM7000 and what cables are required?

loop through lets you connect a second sat box to the first sat box using satellite grade coax cable and F connectors

you then place the first box on standby and use the second box instead (the first box always has priority if its on)

Does the second sat box have to be a BM7000 or can you use any sat box???

              Hi againg,

I tried connecting the BM700 using satellite grade coax cable and F connectors to my digibox, put the BM into standby and the second box said no signal received.

I am probably doing something wrong but any ideas???

sly boxes have no diseqc built in so if you are expecting it to work then it probably wont , they are very limited machines in that regard

when I said "any sat box" , I meant any third party sat box (not a bespoke sly box)

Never tried on a Blade 7000s but on the loopout on a TM5402HD ,DM500s and other linux receivers i have always managed to get an official receiver to work on the Loop out
