need a little advice on my solo I sometimes lose channels in bad weather. If I go into settings then sat finder my signal is about 60%. The tune button is on manual transponder but if I change it to predefined it jumps up to 79% would I be better using this setting

Differnet transponders have different signal levels & different channels are on different transponders ,so this is why you end up losing some channels & not others.

Sounds like the dish is not correctly aligned or possibly try twisting (skew) the LNB a touch to see if signal improves on the
weaker transponders.
