The MBC channels on 7.3? west 12322 V 27500 5/6 are one of the strongest although with anything it depends on where you are in the country as TP strengths change in different areas whats strong for one person could be slightly weaker for another.

      Just bear this in mind

Try 10.719 V 22000 Qatar TV HD tests they are FTA and its the only TP I can get reliably up near Hull and should be ok in London

            HI
thank you for your reply I tried the frequency but nothing. I can get all satellites from Astra 28e to 5w Atlantic bird and the dish can move further too. I've never had this problem before. I've always been able to get nilesat. It started when we had the storms during the christmas period.

Hi. Here in London with a 1m dish NILESAT is perfect. I suspect your problem may have been the storm has knocked the dish out of alignment slightly. You may need to re-align it. Do you get any satellites after 5w??. If not you will need to raise the dish slightly up to get the signals back.

              Regards.

yeah it certainly sounds like an alignment problem in what direction though must be found by trial and error, you dont say if your dish is fixed or motorised if fixed its outside straight away I"m afraid but if motorised try either adjusting your longitude position in 0.2 degree increments either way(if using usals)if on diseqc 1.2 use the movement control in the motor menu to nudge the dish either eastward or westward.then save when max signal found.Dishes are usually blown out of alignment in an east/ west way,and rarely in an up /down direction thogh it can happen of course.

thanks. BTW I have a motorised dish. I haven't managed to find the position yet. I'll keep trying.

Is thor is your starting point ?. if it is . is it working fine?. If yes you only need to find the right frequency. don't just try only one frequency. Also your receiver is DVB S NOT DVB S2. The frequency 10.719 dick gave u is for dvbs2 you cant get this channels any way. Try the one digicon gave you or other . Also remember that nilesat is only on 7.0 west and eutelsat where MBC channels frequency dicon gave you is 7.3 west.
